WkWyW.net Web Hosting Additional Services

There are a number of additional services offered to enhance your package, any of which can be added to your account at any time. If you are already a member then please complete the Upgrade Package form, new members signing up can make the selection of any additional service during the completion of the 'Join' WkWyW.net form.

Additional storage capacity is available at £5 per 10Mb or  40 per 100Mb.

Additional eMail accounts can be purchased at £7 for 4.

We will consider building and installing any scripts you require. If the script is generic in nature and useful to all account holders then we will gladly build it for you at a greatly reduced or no cost and make it available to all our customers. If the script is not generic in nature or you would like it to be available to yourself only we will undertake to build the script for you and install it in your package only. See Software Development for more details.

To be able to build and install your own scripts you need to be running the Full Hosting Package.

The standard script supplied with both basic and full packages for 'Form Processing' can be customised to individual requirements. The most common use of the script is to receive web site form submissions via email, although the script is capable of processing form data in many ways. Modification to the processing of the form data makes many things possible, one example is the format of emails generated, you could even include your company's logo, another is redirection of the form data to a database for permanent storage.

Members can perform the customisation, or alternatively you could employ our design team to make the required changes. This will be a chargeable service to both basic and full package members, costs will vary depending on requirements but a good estimate would be £20 to £25 for each XSL generated.

If you would like to keep your visitors and customers up to date with any new products/services that you offer, notify of updates or send a news letter, then a mailing list is the ideal solution. Any number of mailing lists can be generated so your customers and visitors can select the ones they wish to receive. This service is free to members on the full package but is offered as an additional service to basic package members at a cost of £15 per year. WkWyW.net also offer to configure the mailing service to appear as if it comes from your own server, a single payment of £25 would be charged for this option.

An additional service offered to customers with the basic package (free with the Full Package) where you can open Forums for discussions between your visitors. It is a highly configurable system that can be configured to match the look of your web site either by the WkWyW.net web team, for a nominal single charge of £25.00 or you can control the look yourself. To setup the Forum facility a charge of £15.00 per annum will be made, then your up and running.

Extra bandwidth is metered on a monthly basis at the rate shown in the table below:

Each package includes a large amount of bandwidth per month, should your traffic exceed this amount you will be charged at the rate shown above per 1Mb over your limit. For example, the basic package includes 256Mb per month. Should transfers in one month total, for example, 306Mb you will be charged an additional £5 for that month. If in the following month your bandwidth usage drops below the 256Mb threshold there will be no additional charges for that month. This facility will be charged for at the end of each year.

Note that if your site consistently exceeds around 340Mb per month you will make considerable savings by taking the Full Hosting Package which includes 512Mb per month and has a greatly reduced charge on additional bandwidth.

There is no need to set up this facility it is included as standard in all packages.
